It's 1976, late November 1976, & the D&G Ting makers make a sweet tasting delIcious grapefruit soda (POP), and the first Ting is made. Soon after, Ting sells all over Jamaica and throughout the Carribbean, and consequently becomes a favorite straight up and mixed. Ting is a very high quality drink, with minimal "additives" to prolong taste and all a dat. AINT NO NEED FOR THAT! Ting is put down too quickly to be made. For example: a different grapefruit flavored soda, Squirt, does not use real grapefruits, or a very small amount. Ting's third ingredient: "GRAPEFRUIT JUICE (6%)" shows that many of these delicious Jamaican fruits are needed for production, and Ting means nothin but bissnass with nothin but qualiTY every time! Its very unfortunate that ting is not sold much elsewhere than in Jamaica and most of the carib...most of the world is missin out and hasnt lived ting yet! *to all tourists to the carib that just love da ting: ting is sold by wholesale beverage distributers (its easy to find online). Ting and other D&G products are sold in U.K. stores. (Ting-in-a-can) Distributors now cross the globe.
