And make a movie about the quest to make a Tribute album to an unknown
songwriter???
Yep. That's what we're doing.
The TRIBUTE THIS! movie is pretty near complete. We've spent nearly two
years and 200,000 miles traveling around the world pursuing famous singers
and asking them if they would be willing to appear on a tribute album (all
proceeds going to the great UK music charity YOUTH MUSIC) dedicated to
an mostly unknown but hard working (and talented!) songwriter. Click below

So that's the story of Billy Franks.
Anyway, our quest met with varying degrees of success and we are still working
through the 'back channels' to get this album made (to coincide with the
film release) with the BIG name artists. But being 'realists' we understand
that they may not come through for us. Maybe we'll get some, maybe we'll
just get one, and maybe we'll get none. That's where you come in.
No matter what that response from the BIG names, we will still be making
this Tribute Album to the unknown but hard working (and talented) songwriter,
and if it happens to be by other unknown, but hard working (and talented)
singers and groups... well, actually that sounds totally fitting.
So take a listen (and a look) at the songs in the film box above. Pick the
one that speaks to you and knock out a demo, send it to us. We'll post it
here on the left, and it could end up on the Album (and in the movie). What
better a tribute, right?
