About Me

Born 7 November 1955 in Leytonstone east London. Got 6 O levels and stayed on to do A levels but already had my heart set on a career in the motor trade. Worked for my cousin in his garage for 18 years acheiving City and Guilds Part 1,2 & 3 Technician status with distinction grades and IMI associate membership before starting my own business 'Stokes Vehicle Services' in 1990. I Took the mensa intelligence tests in 1992 and recorded an IQ of 147. I acquired my business premises in Barking Essex in 1996 that I still own today. The biggest sadness in my life - my dad passed away 3 weeks to the day after my 50th birthday. I have never married and have no children but have been with Ruth since 1994.....I waited many years for the right lady...and what a lady she is!I have loved cars since I could say the word. I progressed on to motorbikes riding my Moto Guzzis all over Europe and parts of USA. I have had various classic cars - Jaguar E-type, MGBV8, Mk2 Consul etc. I also loved to play football (goalkeeper) and rugby and used to be a West Ham season ticket holder. I love all forms of motor sport and did a small amount of Kart racing myself in the 70s but I remain a frustrated wannabe racing driver - perhaps one day!! I still work hard and will hopefully never stop wanting to better myself.http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LnlvdXR1YmUuY 29tL3dhdGNoP3Y9dVp1THBiaElTVjQ=

Operation handfix

I have just been mucked about by the NHS for 2 days trying to get my hand sorted out after putting a 5/16" drill through it. After 3 trips to Chelmsford (120 miles) I was still told to come back again...
