...in the years 1991 - 1997 they lived an exciting period creating and
producing the innovative sound of the dance label "Eye Q
Records".
During that time they have developed projects such as "Cygnus X"
("Superstring, "The Orange Theme"), "Vernon´s Wonderland",
the Sven Väth solo albums, the "B-Zet" project with its
hit-single "Everlasting Pictures", the electro/dance live-act "Earth
Nation" (1994 live at the Montreux-Festival) and an endless number of
remixes.
In 1997, when the Eye Q Label moved to Berlin, the three musicians
stayed in Frankfurt and founded the production company "schallbau
produktion".
This was also the point when they started to give their musical
direction a new definition. During the period of "technorevolution"
they gave an important contribution to the development of this new and
fascinating music. After 1997, with the musical influence of the early
90´ies they successfully produced artists such as Simon
Collins, gold selling artist Laith Al-Deen or the platinum album artist
Yvonne Catterfeld.
They did remixproductions for artists such as Yello or Robert Palmer,
songwriting for Randy Crawford and created with the scores to "Hommage
á Noir" (Goldmedal Award for score on the New York
Filmfestivals) or "Der kalte Finger" some extraordinary film music.
In 2005 they founded "SCHALLBAU REC." and "SCHALLBAU vinyl", the
labelplatform of Schallbau. The start was made with re-releases of
the Eye Q catalogue in form of originals and new mixes on vinyl.
Further on there will be releases of new projects and artists such as Virginia Nascimento, Chi, I Love Pop, Wink, Cargo City.
