If you’re keen on dynamic sound and being electrified by music you have to be on the spot with ELEKTRODE. The extraordinary mixture of Drum ‘n Bass, Electro and influences of the 80ies lets rhythm enthusiasts’ hearts beat faster and turns on every lover of electronic music.There’s no general label that fits the sound of ELEKTRODE. Trying to explain its style, names like “The Prodigy”, “Felka” or “Chemical Brothers” are the ones most often chosen. But ELEKTRODE is more sophisticated. Playful and melodic elements sway on a floor of pushing beats and grooves, accomplished by catchy hooklines.Special not only the sound is but also the line-up of ELEKTRODE. As for every electronic act there’s a man in control of the regulators. But he’s attended by a drummer who’s the one in charge of the unique live quality of this music. Band Members: Reto Knaus, Electronics and Head of ElektrodeThe self-employed audio-producer and sound-engineer has a lot of musical background. In 1992 he started up his first own studio called “trax musicproduction”. He went on doing various projects in different styles and areas such as synthie-pop, house and hardtrance. He also composed and was responsible for the musical arrangements of several so-called “rocktheaters”. But of course now his main focus lies on ELEKTRODE.

Alex Kästli aka Alex Box, DrumsThe Swiss musician with Greek roots studied at Musikakademie / Jazzschool St. Gallen. He is experienced in a broad range of styles and musical activities. He works as a studio drummer as well as a live performer, on drums and percussion, in Switzerland and abroad. He also works as a music teacher, composer and author. Currently he’s involved in acoustic music, suports a house D.J. and of course - ELEKTRODE.
