*car collector - so, so many but right now I've got a '63 Galaxie 500 XL Town Victoria w/ a very mild, custom indoor early-60s car show look, '70 XL Tunnelback w/ an Edelbrock 4 bbl carb & manifold, shiftkit, Flowmasters, Magnum 500 mags in the back and a futuristic interior, (my) Granny's '71 Cutlass sleeper w/ a v. powerful 350 (Olds not the obvious Chevy small block) & a single glaspak, '89 Merc Grand Marquis Colony Park station wagon w/ options I've never had before such as cold AC & power antenna.
*gathering eccentric items from the past including rare Mod furniture, stereo & TV sets, comix, magazines & books (film, car, architecture, advertising, music, medical) and lots of vinyl including psuedo psychedelia, pipe organ & harpsichord-based, vanity pressed & song poem, folk, jazz, and plenty of early-60s Pac. NW, so-called garage band stuff such as The Sonics, Kingsmen, Battle Of The Band comps, Paul Revere & The Raiders, etc.
*fronted notorious SF band: The Longshoremen (GRR HUH YEAH, WALK THE PLANK, also w/ tracks on two compilations - THE CLUB FOOT LP, DEVOURING OUR ROOTS) on (Subterranean Records) www.subterranean.org
*hosted an access cable show for years in SF -Doghouse - with such guests and hosts as Big Daddy Roth, Penelope Houston, Jello Biafra and "Heather The Bad Cat", Fred Willard, Carol Doda, Sky Saxon, Rudy Ray Moore to name a few...
*will premiere "Shackgirl", a feature film written and directed by Dog Swan & Heather McCollom, by late-Summer or early-Fall. This is the poignant story of "Stinky" who was abandoned at an early age to the whims of fate. Stinky may be found eating worms, drinking gasoline, or caressing what's left of a human skeleton. After Stinky meets an anal retentive futon-salesman, he takes her in and tries his best to "civilize" her. This leaves us wondering what ghastly changes she might affect him with...
