Broke[N]Blue

.. BROKE[N]BLUE from Kolsva, Sweden,is an AOR/Melodic Rock project with members from different bands playing the original music of Lars Abrahamsson. Lars plays all guitars and keyboards and the lead vocals is shared between Eva Abrahamsson and Peter Gustavsson. Lars and Eva have been playing in bands for a long time and joined the same band for the first time about 20 years ago. Peter is guitarist and leadsinger of coverband SIXPACK. Ulf Vestlund is fulltime bassplayer with top coverband DeSotos and works with leading Swedish artists such as Jennifer Brown and Andreas Johnsson. In 1999, Lars published some songs on the web, which resulted in a lot of interest from webzines and listeners around the world. After some highscore reviews the band decided to record a fullength cd. Ulf joined the band on bass and drums and the debut album “Northern Light” was recorded between Nov 2000 and May 2001 and released on Maple Leaf Records in June 2001. The band is recognized by the strong melodies in all songs, where the vocal arrangements are an important part, and the trademark is the mix of male and female vocals. The debut album "Northern Light" was well received on the market and gained a lot of good reviews from all over the world. In the following years Lars wrote more songs for a 2nd album and in May 2004, Broke[N]Blue was signed to MTM Music, Germany. The new album “The Waiting” was released in July 2005 and got many good reviews all around the world, and Broke[N]Blue will go on fighting to get this music back on the main charts…
