Hear a natural sound

About Me

It's a natural feeling to create natural music. It's an earthly sound that comes from our belief in preserving this planet.Amazing Lights in the Cold World is a one-man project, officially started as a two-man project. After a period of experimenting with sound and different machines, two guys decided to split up because the tastes were a bit different...though without anger or conceit...Christophe Degreef (1987) decided to hold the band's name, 'Amazing Lights in the Cold World' and to continue to explore his natural taste and his interest for synthesizers, nature sounds, weird waves from filtered drummachines and earthly or spacy sound layers. The project still continues...and will maybe never ends. It's not about constantly making music, but just when he feels like.Living in Steenokkerzeel, a small village near the Brussels international airport, the inspiration he gets comes from his own imagination, his walks in the fields near his house and his love for travelling and exploring. You can hear the result of that on his MySpace.Sound is a philosophy. Ambient is a science, with a wide range of taste and a free-your-mind-philosophy. Please enjoy the music of Amazing Lights in the Cold World...
