Current happenings: Drastic changes have occurred!! Instead of my racing my little tukus back to the a'ina...I have decided to visit the islands in smaller doses in exchange for setting down roots and having some responsibilities near the Redwoods in Eureka, CA. So, now I have an apt and some bills but I also have an art studio and more possibilities in seeing some of my dreams to fruition. Including getting some art out and into the community, and doing some more recording sooner than later. There is no end to work possibilities here, so all in all I feel the decision is a sound one although part of me is still in the Puna jungle dancing my heart out at Kalani and sitting on the Seaview lawn, eating lunch with my tribe. That's the part tht is aching for the island breezes. Ok, I'm getting all veclempt here. So, for now, I do this, for in the grand scheme of things, well, I suppose it's the most beneficial. So, prepare yourselves for some new artistic endeavors from your truly. I'm betting some Redwood themes will pop out...
I'd like to meet:
okay...if we're talking famous people... Björk, Angelina Jolie, Alanis Morrissette, Renee Zellweger, Starhawk, Lynn V Andrews, Brad Pitt (of course because he's just so cool), Johnny Depp (who is even more beyond uber-cool than even brad Pitt), Sting, Paulo Coelho, Michael Franti....and then some...
But beyond that... I want to meet tons of interesting people, artists, musicians, photographers, computer geeks, business freaks, and so on...I want to co-create art with anyone who wants to, sing vocals with *and* for anyone who wants me to, take pictures of all of it, to document this our-story that is NOW! I want to grow and expand the tribe I am already a part of. I want to meet people who are interested in changing the world in a positive and self-sustainable way. I want to meet people who want to challenge me creatively, because "It's NOT a competition, it's a Competency-Mission!" I wrote that, and it means, to love each other as humans enough to challenge each other to be the best we can be within a circle of love and trust. And within that trust and love we can let our spirit out, and gain perspective of our role in this life. By helping each other to be in our integrity, by speaking our truth with clarity, by loving one another wholehearted, we can transcend this pseudo reality into the real thing. This heaven on earth....
