About Me

Iris Eve is a prolific songwriter, gifted poet, and seasoned performer. Defying all genres, she gives us what we want; popular music that cannnot be called pop, lyrics with depth, and a potent voice for the counter-culture and mainstream alike. Iris Eve delivers fresh new songs that are meaningful and relevant to everyone, rich with the textures of simple melody and deep metaphor. Outspoken, but well-spoken, Iris moves listeners through laughter, tears and dance, often all in the same song. With a dynamic stage presence and powerful message, Iris Eve's audiences tend to listen deeply, mesmerized by the rhythms of her words and the uniqueness of her style.Iris Eve has shared stages with a variety of musicians such as : Shimshai, Lynx and Janover, Clan Dyken, Ras Gabriel, Human, Fantuzzi, Heather Noel, Wassabi Collective, and Dan Frechette, as well as playing events with local musicians such as: Ras and Queen Sparrow, Bruddah Walter, Kaliko Guys. Currently residing on the Big Island of Hawaii, this Canadian-born singer-songwriter is taking her music to the next level with a full band, featuring Erik Avery on the bass guitar, and Dave Larocco on the drums.Erik Avery has established himself throughout the US, as a truly epic bass and guitar player. Influenced by funk, jazz, rock'n'roll, and everything in between, he adds a tasty flavor to everyone he plays with. Erik has been playing with Iris Eve since his arrival in Hawaii in 2008. Other bands Erik has played with include; Average White Band, Tom Tom Club, Living in Color, Maceo Parker, and Blue Oyster Cult.Dave Larocco, a.k.a.
