Music, books, film, shoes, books, hiking, men with large shoulders, beer, books, men with large brains, shoes, vintage cars, books, Rugby, bad TV...Did I mention books? oh & poetry...good poetry can be very, very sexy. but bad poetry makes me very sad. I also really like a good tattoo in the right place on the right person. Serious side: volunteer work for Books for Soliders, Soldiers Angels, NY Cares and whatever other small things I can do to help & no, that doesn't mean I'll help you move into your new apt.
Famous people? I don't usually care about famous people but, I guess: Dorothy Parker, Edith Piaf, Gloria Steinem, Johnny Cash, John Trudell...I meet lots of people - some of whom I really like. Generally, I enjoy meeting people who give a damn, read good books & can put words together well...especially if they wear good shoes...and don't like sucky music. People who work toward the greater good w/out being all righteous about it are people I like to spend time with. For those who've asked, I'm not really interested in getting photos of you or your buddies w/no clothes on, sorry. I do meet many nice men & someday I hope to settle down with a man with the following attributes: big heart, big shoulders, big brain, no wife, no smoking, a thorough understanding of the importance of sentence structure and specificity of language and a tolerance for my early nights and sometimes very late nights and an understanding and appreciation of the fact that I will often go for walks on my own & it doesn't mean I'm "mad" & sometimes, I just need to read a book & be left alone & sometimes I need to go climb something & sometimes I just want to stay home and watch baseball and drink beer and sometimes, often, I need to get on a soapbox & go and try to save the world and...
