And so it began! In a garage on some posh estate. Four blokes with a combined age 167 plugged in their amps,screamed down microphones and bashed some skins. Wolfpack were on the road to 'reunionsville'. Cast your minds back to the glorious days of the 70's. A bag of chips cost thruppence,ale was cheap, and waggon wheels really were a lot bigger than they are today.Five young men (two of em with daft names) decided to form a band.After a little bit of self tuition and an awful lot of posing practice,these young men created a band that would go down in the anals of rock history.A local band playing for local people,Wolfpack trod the boards building up a fanbase mainly of drunks,winos and folk who had nowt better to do than go down the pub and get some serious 'earhole damage'.As the band got better,so did the clientelle,gigs were coming thick and fast,(as were their audience)and before they knew it they were on the rocky road of rock n roll.The mid 80's saw a few line up changes and offshoots of the original band,and keeping up with the times the music changed too! The only thing that stayed the same was their hairstyles and drinking habits. Fast forward to 2006! The word on the street is 'reunion' and not wanting to miss out on the odd fiver and a few free beers, Rab and Graeme come up with the idea of a reformed,original line up reunion gig. Sam the original drummer could not be located,so his sticks were picked up by Andy and as for a permenent singer my old mate and serious drunkard Nige was given singing honours.With gigs a plenty but a serious lack of groupies, Wolfpack can be found in a town or village near you, so if you want a bit of nostalgia,fine ale and a sore head then check em out.You are bound to know a tune or two,I certainly did! Think about it? These guys are getting on a bit,so they need to get in shape.
Mr.Rab has been seen entering a certain health spa to rejuvinate himself ,whilst Troft and Gav have been spotted in Boots the chemists buying facepacks and oil of oldage. Nigel was last seen talking to a horse in Queens park, meanwhile Andy is convalescing at the 'Keith Moon' drop in centre somewhere in Brighton, having his wrists re-built due to drum abuse!Tickets for the event are £5 (could see a proper band for that) and are available at gigs or on the website via paypal.It is hoped that former members will be attending the gig to either join in with current band crew to perform or carry on with their lawsuits!I myself may not be attending as I have chose that particular evening to stay at home and shave my ass! Come along to the show and let your hair down(if you got any) and take a trip back in time to when men were men but all the guys wearing spandex got all the nice birds.
