Early Influences were Quo – Rossi/Parfitt – when they were a decent Band
Tony Iommi – The Riffmaster!
The Schenkers – both Rudolph and Michael – are they sober these days!
Always loved the twin axe attack Bands – Iron Maiden – Dave Murray and Adrian Smith. Judas Priest – Glen Tipton and KK Downing. Thin Lizzy - Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson.
Also love listening to Blues stuff - Eric Clapston/Gary Moore/Rory Gallagher (RIP)
These day’s still listen to - Slash (VR), Dave Gilmour, - oh and that Petrucci fellow isn’t bad.Andy
No real surprise on my Influences...
Neil Peart (Rush), probably the finest living drummer.
Peter Criss (Kiss), it was the solo on Kiss Alive made me want to be a drummer.
Ian Paice (Deep Purple) Still can’t play Fireball after 30 years of trying.
John Bonham (‘nuff said)
Band wise:
Rush, Kiss, Deep Purple, Led Zep, Judas Priest, more recently Evanescence and Nickleback
Sounds Like: Metallica
Judas Priest
Thunder
UFO
Black Sabbath
AC/DC
Iron Maiden
