About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

SuperToaster beat their instruments since 2000. They call the stuff that comes out "flink funk", although most people refer to it as "way too loud". After their former metal/hard rock band (beatroot) broke up in 1999, bass player Robert, former guitarist and now drummer Pomml and guitarist Ed wanted to go on, but play music that other local bands just didn't play. Also, the 3 musicians didn't want to adapt their style to fit musical trends. "You gotta sound like this to get a deal. You gotta sound like this to be played on the radio...". Wo cares?

"When we started, every local band was playing crossover or metal. The drummers had to play doublebass, the guitarists tried to sound like Yngwie. Now the same guys play simple 3-chord guitarpop songs to suit the taste of record companies or radio stations. Know what I mean? We didn't want to form a new band every 2 years, just because of trends".

Call it the way you want, because we don't know what this is either ;-)

Ah, and always remember the 3 golden rules of Rock Music:
1) PLAY
2) IT
3) LOUD
