About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
NUNA is a rocking outfit that counts Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit and New York City home amongst others - Nuna and Anya, along with different drummers over the years, have toured the eastern half of the country and are looking to go nationwide. Currently on hiatus as NUNA and working in the Killing Dick Phefer project (myspace.com/killingdickphefer) they combine elements of straight-up rock, dark melodic glam, pop and garage. As NUNA they took 1st place over 700 other bands at AIDSROCK OHIO. The band lays out a future sound that has been called "creepy, sexy and haunting" (garageband.com). The magazine Vital Source says, "This trio delivers an extremely energetic and catchy disk that seems to defy pigeonholing under any convenient label .... a definite way with a pop tune." NUNA's debut "Headcase" landed 6 songs on local radio and the followup "Famous In Another Dimension" has already placed three songs on radio before the official release. The studio is one home to the band but a sweaty beer-soaked room in front of an enthusiastic crowd is more to NUNA's liking. Just give them a stage and they'll win you over.
