SHAVED formed in December of 2000 by Lead Vocalist/Guitarist Brando and Bassist Doug Self. Doug witnessed Brando play an improvised acoustic jam of what would become the song "Part of Me" at a party. Doug asked Brando if he wanted to start a band. Brando, being dissatisfied with the state of his current band AFTERLIFE, decided it was time for a change and agreed to leave AFTERLIFE and SHAVED was immediatly born. A few months later the band recorded it debut release the "Part of me" demo. SHAVED played its first show on St. Patty's day 2002. What a way to pop the cherry!! Over the next few years SHAVED played several shows and went through several lineup changes. In June of 2005 SHAVED recorded the HIGH OCTANE HATE EP, which was released on the HARDCOOR PRODUCTIONS label. In April of 2007, SHAVED went back into the studio and recorded what became known as THE 4/20 SESSIONS. We just finished recording a 3 song demo featuring original vocalist Brando. Hope ya dig it!
