About Me

I am a Lawyer in Prince Edward Island, Canada. One of my interests in law is Sports and Entertainment Law.I have been married to a delightful man (and awesome referee), Craig, for almost 10 years. Ten years!!!!I love comedy, especially Russell Peters and Matt Sadlier, who make me laugh more than anyone in the world!I'm obsessive (but not in a creepy, stalking, Fatal Attraction kind of way! LOL) so my interests tend to fluctuate. Check back regularly to see what I am obsessing with lately!I believe in all that's good in the world and I may have a utopic perception of the world, but that's only because in my head, the world is (or has the potential to be) perfect.And for anyone saying who the hell are Nish and Daniel Nainan? here they are (See below "Who I'd like to meet" section for Daniel Nainan's vid):

My Interests

My interests include origami, geocaching, and Hockey (Go Canucks!). What a combo!!!! I'm also a fan of referees of any kind. Yes. You read it right. Referees. I love them! (so much, that I married one!) What can I say? Always fighting for the underdog...... lol. I'm also a huge fan of comedy. (If you know what I'm talking about when I say I love the Willy Waller 2006 and Poptarts, and love them as much as I do, please be my friend! lol)

I'd like to meet:

Cyndi Lauper (always have, since I was 9 in 1984), Ellen DeGeneres, Russell Peters (yummy!), Tracie Thoms, Dan Nainan, Nish, Marie-Jo ThÃ©rio, Ewan MacGregor, Hugh Grant, Julia Stiles. Oh- and regular people too! lol Would love to meet people who referee (hockey particularly, but any other sport as well) at all levels. I admire you guys (and gals!) greatly.

Music:

I enjoy Christian Rock, more particularly, Relient K, Barlow Girl, Superchick and Krystal Meyers. However, I am also a big fan of Piano Bar type music, love 40's stuff, and am a huge fan of Cyndi Lauper. At the same time, my mood tends to dictate what I listen to, which may take me anywhere from Classical to Rap and Hip Hop. I love musicals, and am currently addicted to "Rent". My brother has been DJing forever, and in my eyes, he is and will always be the best DJ ever. He's also writing music lately and is writing some really good stuff.

Television:

Yes, I admit it. I'm A Corrie Fan. Coronation Street has become a favorite of ours over the past 3 or 4 years.... And Hockey Night in Canada (of course!)Can you tell we don't have Cable or sattelite? Why would we, when my favorite shows are all on CBC (how many people do you know who can say THAT? lol)

Books:

"Eats, Shoots and Leaves" is a great book. Anything that makes me really laugh is good. Ellen Degeneres' books are hilarious, too. All time Favorite: Le Petit Prince

Heroes:

My Mom was my hero. I can only hope to be as good a parent to my children as she was to my brother and I. She died in March 2002, but will live on in my heart forever.
