Pastor Michael D. Green was born and raised in Hampton, VA. The youngest son of Bishop Samuel L. Green Jr. and Vivian Green, Pastor Michael Green received the Lord Jesus at the age of 16, and has been ministering to the body of Christ ever since.
In 1993, at the age of 23, he officially accepted his call to ministry and has been an ordained elder in the Church of God in Christ since August 1996. He is the founder of Word and Power Ministries, established in 2001 as an evangelisitic ministry equiped to deliver and empower people through the preached word of God. He was elevated to the office of pastor of the New St. Mark COGIC (The Mark), and he and his lovely wife, Mrs. Candace L. Green, have worked untiringly to empower the community to which they have been assigned. Armed with his faith in God, and his loving companion, Pastor Green has sought to "Build God a House One Soul at a Time."
Known for being a prophetic preacher, Pastor Michael Green has traveled the length and breath of this nation, sharing the word of God to all that will hear. With his motto, "It's Already Done!"
