I enjoy spending time with my family and with friends when possible. I like to workout. I love going to the movies to see a good movie. Don't tell anyone but When I watched a scary movie I spilled my popcorn cause I jumped. My wife was laughing and so were other people I was so embarrased. I have a real interest in meeting new people. I am shy though I've never liked that part of myself. I want to meet people especially people that want to serve God, ; and just live a Christian life to the best of their ability. I think the more people you have to talk to the better off you are because we all need other "people" in some way or another. We all have things in our life that we can relate to others on. I am a big NEW FOUND GLORY fan! Love their new album "Coming Home" which has non stop great music. The Early Novermber is aslo a neat band. MXPX has a good new cd out. I was impressed with Angels and Airwaves new cd as well.
People that I could help and friends in Christ. I would love to meet and connect with people that love God and seek Him. I would like to meet with similar interests and people with ambitions and goals. I would also like to encourage people that want direction. Not because I am perfect; but because that is the desire of my heart to help people.I would also like to meet possible students that may wish to attend Evergreen Christian University. I would like to meet people that are involved in helping others.
Of course above and beyond anything I love music that worships the Lord, King of Kings. I love music that helps me to relate to "life" and "experiences."I love Christian music. Third Day, Mercy Me, Jakie Valasquez (might be spelled wrong sorry Jakie), Jars of Clay and mostly anything else played on Christian radio stations is inspiring and soul stirring! MXPX (MXPX Christian based band). Hawk Nelson which is also a Christian based band. Switch Foot, also a Christian based Band, Relient K, also a Christian based band. The Starting Line, The Early November, Simple Plan, Hawthorne Heights, Less than Jake, Fall Out Boy, unwritten law, Dashboard Confesionals, Sum 41, Say Anything....Coheed and Cambria, Cartel, + 44 among others. I also like compilation cd's
Favorite movie is "Glory" and "Full Metal Jacket" these were the first movies to ever really relate to "life, feeling and emotions" etc. I was touched by the solidarity that followed the enlistment of African-American soldiers. That was the first time that I can remember seeing whites and blacks being made "perfect" in their weakness. I joined the Army a month after High School because of the inspiration I felt from the films. Something in the movie made me see soldiers differently, positively vs negative. I love a lot of movies though. That movie just happens to be my favorite. "The Nativty Story," "The Passion" like "Black Hawk" Down. "When we Were Soldiers," among other movies.
I love interesting History Channel shows (mostly dealing with Christianity). I really like to watching anything with praise and worship for God. I like pretty much everything on court tv; Besides that I am not a huge tv fan.
I like reading books concerning Christianity and the Christian Faith. I love to read the Bible and bible study guides. I love learning and refreshing my God given knowledge through the "Word." I like war stories, poems and self help books. I even like good romantic books too. I like books that help you in relationships. There is so much to relationships that we all forget or lose focus of why we are in a certian relationship. Anything that helps refocus my mind to positive aspects of any relationship is a help.
Instinctively the Lord our God. Including Jesus Christ for setting us free of "sin and death." And giving us hope and true unconditional Love, love that we all seek. He freely gives to us His love. I say Jesus because He has been there for me even when it felt like He was no where in sight. He was with me through a negative childhood and He is here "now." 1 Corinthians 13 Is a great example of the Love we should all have and grant. unconditional Love for us all!
