THE NEW CREATION PHENOMENON
"He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own... anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!
All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins... Become friends with God; he's already a friend with you.
How? You say. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God." 2 Corinthians 5:15-21 (The Message Bible)
Many of us wander through life haphazardly. We make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes just push us along. More times than often those unwise decisions dictate the course of our lives; even altering our paths.
Some of us have had no choice in the matter of our direction. Maybe we were the victims of some else's poor judgment and lack of wisdom.
Whatever the case of our beginning, past and present, we have a way out of the perplexing, confusing and downward spiral of mishaps. We don't have to stay the same. In fact the very essence of life is growth. We should all be in a daily place of growing beyond our present self and transition into our true selves.
In Christ, we have the opportunity to begin again. When we connect with the "Author of Life" a process of complete transformation begins. This is why I love the butterfly. For me, this enigma of nature best describes what we humans are to accomplish here in the realm of this earth.
Like the butterfly, we are born as earth bound creatures. There is an appointed time for each one of us to go into our cocoon stage for transformation. This cocoon--the loving hands of our Creator. When the process of transformation is complete, we emerge winged creatures, able to soar above the former bondage of earth and take to the freedom of the heavens.
Like the butterfly, this transformation cannot happen on its own. It has to entrust itself to the transforming environment. We too must trust a loving God to take us in, complete us and release us to our true identity and divinity.
You see, believing in and trusting God and Jesus, His Son, is not just a matter of right and wrong. The crux of the matter is an infusion... moreover, an exchange, of LIFE!
Are you ready to fly?
Love,
Charlette
