There are two passions in my life. 1) writing and 2) performing. I'm in a band metal/hardcore band right now and every Tuesday night I can make I go to Shoot Your Mouth Off Too at Shea Riley's to perform what my various writings. Those are the types of things I live for and I believe self-expression is an important part of myself so I do it as often as possible
Don't judge me by appearance. That's the best way to get on my nerves. I am not emo, I am not goth, I am not hardcore. All I really ever am and all I really ever wanted to be was me. The black clothing is nothing more than a fashion choice that I find most comfortable. If you have a hard time dealing with that then you need to take a hard look at yourself and evaluate what you truly believe about who and what a person is.
I try to make it a point not to judge or make assumptions about people I meet. I don't believe the first impression is always the most important and I think you should have a conversation with someone before you make any sort of decision about them. I believe that open minds and open hearts make the world go 'round.
Speaking of believing, I will openly admit my faith and say that I am a Christian. There have been times in my life that have shown me that there is a God and he is forever working in my life through the good and the bad. It's the reason I enjoy my name, which is Hebrew for "God will uplift".
