About Me

Indie Producer from the 904 area, with a love and dedication to seeing old skool and new skool together. Working with Projekt X Entertainment, The Independent Artist Network, ElijahRogers.net, PRYME LOCC*AYSHUN RECORDS, 3K Productions and many others preparing to offer something outside of "bling-bling", "expensive liquor" and "we got girls cuz we paid as hell" type of entertainment.

Paying dues never ends and the game changes everyday, so I'm in the home lab cooking up something different every chance I get and expanding my capabilities. My intent is to work with any and everyone who is about business and understands there are stages of growth we all HAVE to go through to come up in this biz. No "overnight blowing up pipe dreams" and no "I got it all" mentalities, just hard work has kept me going.

The recording setup I'm working with read like this:

SOFTWARE: Cubase Studio 4, WAVES Diamond 5.0, Live 5.0.2, FL Studio 6, SONAR 5 Producer, T-RackS 24, WaveLab Essentials

AUDIO INTERFACE: MOTU 896HD

KEYBOARD/DRUM SEQUENCERS: AKAI MPC500, EMU MP-7, YAMAHA MOTIF XS6

ISOLATION/ACOUSTICS: Clearsonic ISOPAC G, Auralex MOPADS, Control room also treated with Auralex

LightScribe CD & DVD available also

The music you'll find on my page is produced by me, I also work with other producers in the Duval area. I highly recommend Tough Junkie, Aaron Jr., Tangomega, Passdat DIGITAL, Talkin Trees, Jpizm aka JAI, BlakHart and MGeezy...their styles of production is very appealing to my personal taste and has diversity noticable among many in DUVAL.When you pass thru DUVAL there's no reason to leave without the sound you wanted because it's ALL here and I'll help you find it, just like PROGRESSIVE...EVEN IF IT"S ANOTHER COMPANY.

Since there's no who I'd like to meet on Band pages, I'll just plug this here:I'd like to meet Missy and put like 5 tracks on the next thing headin' to the shelf for her. We can skip advances just hit me up 2.5% MSRP based on number of tracks I touch. I'm positive heads will bob and albums will sell.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: futuremusicgroup.net
Band Members:
MPC Hip Hop Samples

Influences:

My influences are from the old skool, before rap became "hook me up", "I'm hard", "I gotta money to waste" and all the other short lived trends that make one hit wonders or crime appeal songs.

DMC, Rakim, KRS-1 and many other who made music years ago but, can still be played today. Those people made "classics" as opposed to being dropped from the "cookie cutter" style of the moment. They "created" styles and we listened, that needs to come back otherwise record labels can grab anyone out of “Da HOOD” and make their money with no worries about a “UNIQUE FLAVA” that only comes from this or that hot artist being hard to replace. Dare to be different and entertaining and make yourself a rare gem in the game.

Sounds Like:
The target sound or feeling I'm shooting for is like late 80's, when there was very obviously more than one genre of Hip Hop. I don't want to bring back the 80's though, I want to improve the present state of Hip Hop and brighten it's future.
