You don't know until you find out.

About Me

I believe you can't wait for life to happen to you, you've gotta be a self-starter. My life is exciting because I make things happen. If they don't work out, at least I know I gave it a shot. I am outspoken, opinionated, fierce in my integrity and I have a big Latin mouth. I love to debate and some people mistake that for being argumentative. I think exchanging ideas is a great thing, and that more people ought to get comfortable with the concept of agreeing to disagree.

I can be a joy to know or a pain in your ass, sometimes in the same day. I bitch a lot when I'm cranky. I change my mind a lot.

Check out these links when you're done looking around here:

My Interests

I tremedously enjoy doing anything artistic. I make a decided effort to not be late for stuff all the time. I love playing with fire. I'm known to be an encyclopedia of useless trivia. I challenge myself daily to get both eyebrows drawn on approximately the same. I was born to entertain people/play hostess. I have to rock or I don't feel like I'm really alive. I adore laughing so hard it makes my eyes cry. I equally adore making other people laugh so hard it makes their eyes cry. I'm fascinated by finding out what makes people tick. I create my own destiny. I always mean what I say amd I expect no less than the same from others. I rock in the kitchen. I love Salvador Dali. (The museum in Florida rules!) I wear Chanel no.5, or I don't wear any perfume at all. I have a big thing for vintage cars, or really any well-made piece of machinery. I drink Crown and Coke when it's time for cocktails. I break the rules/make my own/break those too.

I'd like to meet:

I think I should have some things in common with people I meet. I like getting mail here and answer my messages as promptly as I can, but I don't put up with rudeness or disrespect. If you want to find out about how not to get on my bad side, read THIS . And if you really want to get on my good side, add MY CAT , because she rules and anyone who can appreciate how much that's true is alright by me. :)

That said, I do like making actual in-person friends here, especially cool girls to run around and start trouble with. Not much for online dating... the notion sort of creeps me out. I'd rather make that sort of connection by chance in the real world.

Regarding Anna

I'm seeing behavior on this site since yesterday that's making me rather ill. I personally couldn't watch her on TV, because I can't stand seeing someone so clearly unstable being exploited that way....

Love?

What is 'being in love'?  I personally think it's a clever way to market co-dependency.  Now before you go thinking I'm bitter or jaded, hear me out.  I'm not either of those things.&nb...

Romance

I just came across one of my favorite quotes and I wanted to share it.  It's from a love letter Mary Shelley's mom wrote to her future husband after a particularly steamy night. "If the felicity...

Face Off could happen??? Who knew?

The only reason I really thought the movie Face Off sucked was because the idea of a face transplant actually taking place really stretched my suspension of disbelief. But lo and behold...The first su...
