Crown

I was created in 1939 to celebrate the historic visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Canada. I am a blend of nearly 50 different whiskies. In 1965 I was introduced to America, and since then I have been among the most famous and loved whiskies of all time. In 1992 it was decided that the very best of me was to be bottled and aged differently, more selectively, and for a longer time, Special Reserve was born, my younger brother. Though he is more expensive, and refined than I, people still prefer me as their favorite. From the time I am packaged till the time you drink me (and sometimes after that) I live in a custom made purple bag with my name in golden thread.
