About Me

BEWARE I COMMENT AND MESSAGE A LOT.I live in the South East corner of Queensland Australia. Married with two children and four grandsons. MY MANIFESTO While they're talking about it be doing it. Stay out of sync. Be original. Dare to be silly. You can do anything so long as you take enough time to figure it out. "Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, To soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak." (William Congreve). "Enjoy every sandwich"(Warren Zevon). "We're never gonna survive unless we all get a little crazy"(Seal). "Many people die with their music still in them.....because they are always getting ready to live" (Oliver Wendell Holmes).

My Interests

I'm in love with........ Guitars - Electric and Acoustic. Playing them working on them. Just completed assembling a Strat style guitar out of USA Custom Guitar neck and body. (More in blog - way back) Motorcycles. Computers and the new horizons they open. Oh yeah! Single malt whisky.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people with interesting ideas. Other musicians - particularly local. Other bikers. Talk to me ..... that's what this is for. I will probably annoy you by sending you notes/ comments. Do not try to sell me things like ring tones or gift cards or any of the other annoying crap that floats around Myspace. You will be gone faster than a new-born lamb at a Dingo convention.

Music:

Interested in nearly everything. Intensely interested in contemporary Bluegrass and its relatives and ancestors at present. Christian music if it is well done and has a Gospel message - not just because it is Christian.

Movies:

Action / Drama / Comedy. Preferably all 3 at once.

Television:

Documentaries. Sport. As in films above.

Books:

Theology, Biographies, History, Archaeology, Books on Guitar, Motorcycles etc etc - you get the picture.

Heroes:

Jesus, St.Paul, Thomas A Becket, Thomas More, Martin Luther, Thomas Cranmer, Nicholas Ridley, Hugh Latimer,GF Handel, Mozart, Keith Richards, Warren Zevon, Mick Doohan
