Upright tones and soulful melodies. Mr Ayan demonstrates Afro-Caribean rythm and bass with a modern rock and Soul. Ayan began performing at the age of sixteen. His first appearance was in a New York Hardcore band called District9, on the Schoolahardknox release back around 95 on SFT records and re-released in 2000 on Outa Bomb Records. Ayan adopted the electric upright bass and began studies of Latin music theory. Adding congas. timbales and clave rythms to his music, with an emphasis on motown and modern rock.
