Barry (bass), Rendon (guitar), and Frank started Goatamentise in august of 93 a month or so later Martin (BILLYCLUB SANDWICH) joined on vocals. In February of 94, Milton joined as a second guitarist. Goatamentise played their first show in July of 94 at the bond street caf w/ Stand clear, Emanon & since then has played both Hardcore & Deathmetal shows. The Goatamentise style has been described as Deathcore, its an even mix of hardcore, deathmetal, and metal, the sound has evolved and has become heavier though out the years.
Goatamentise has been lucky enough to play with bands like; HATEBREED, INTERNAL BLEEDING, ALL OUT WAR, MURPHYS LAW, GOD FORBID, NAPALM DEATH, MACHINEHEAD, FULL BLOWN CHAOS, DIE CAST, MADBALL, INHUMAN, DYING FETUS, MASTODON, NO REDEEMING SOCIAL VALUE, IRATE, BILLYCLUB SANDWICH, 4 IN THA CHAMBER, SUB ZERO, COMIN CORRECT, DEHUMANIZED and tonz more.
Goatamentise recently released their final self titled full length. The Album has 10 songs, a mix of older, recent, and new material.
After 13 years we've called it quits, leaving on a high note as opposed to just fading into nothingness! We want to thank those who've supported us through out the years!
