Bronx Bands like;Fahrenheit 451, District 9, & Hellbound Inspired and made the BDC possible.
The Boogie Down Crew was started in 1997 by 5 bands from the Bronx; Driven by hatred, Goatamentise, Blackout, Irate and Rights Reserved. It was started for a support system for the bands. The bands were versatile their music ranged from Hardcore to Metal to post hardcore and soon expanded to Deathmetal. Soon after playing many shows together friends and supporters of the bands joined the B.D.C.
Sometime in 1998 Hellbound, Immortal Suffering, The wasted, Starve (aka Burndown), Xiakuan, I one30one and later Proof of Purchase, & Billy club sandwich joined us in our hope to build ourselves a scene and spread the word about these bands. The B.D.C was and still is people whove known each other for years putting on some shows and parties.
After years of band break ups In 2005 we are putting it back together, we're older and wiser. after doing this for so many years it's time to take things to a new level. look foward to show bookings parties and other events. stay tuned!!

1. WE CONTACT YOU SOON ABOUT SHOWS! ANY INQUIRES ABOUT SHOWS WILL BE IGNORED, ESPECIALLY TOURS!

2. JUST ADDING US IS GOOD ENOUGH BELIEVE IT OR NOT WE READ BANDS PROFILES WHEN WE HAVE TIME A QUICK MESSAGE WONT HURT BUT THEIRS NO NEED FOR A BIO, ALL THE INFO I'LL NEED SHOULD BE ON YOUR PAGE!

3. WE WONT BOOK A BAND THAT DOESNT HAVE MUSIC ON THEIR PAGE OR MP3s AVAILABLE TO LISTEN TO. SORRY BUT WE NEED TO HEAR WHAT YOU SOUND LIKE SO WE CAN PUT YOU ON AN APPROPRIATE BILL.

4. NO EMO, OR NU METAL BANDS SORRY BUT YOU GUYS CAN GET SHOWS ANYWHERE!! WE WILL ONLY BOOK UNDERGROUND HARDCORE, DEATHMETAL, GRINDCORE, BLACKMETAL, METAL & THE OCCASIONAL HARD ROCK BAND.

5. IF YOU ARRIVE LATE, ARE CAUGHT FIGHTING, DISRESPECT THE STAFF, SHOW GOERS, PROMOTERS OR DO ANYTHING ELSE DISRESPECTFUL AT ONE OF OUR SHOWS YOU WONT BE BOOKED AGAIN! 1 STRIKE & YOURE OUT!

6. ONLY ESTABLISHED, SIGNED REGIONAL OR NATIONAL ACTS WILL GET A GUARANTEE. WE NEED A GUARANTEE OF HEADS BROUGHT IN THE DOOR, IF YOU ASK FOR A GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT GET IT UNLESS YOU'RE A SIGNED REGIONAL OR NATIONAL ACT WHO WILL GUARANTEE A BIG DRAW, OTHER THAN THAT YOU ARE PAID WHAT YOU DRAW. UNLIKE SOME PROMOTIONS WE PAY OUR BANDS!

ALL OF THIS MAY SOUND HARSH BUT I ASSURE YOU ITS JUSTIFIED & ENFORCED! WERE SIMPLY PUTTING ON SHOWS TO HAVE FUN & TRY TO GET OUR UNDERGROUND SCENES GOING AS WELL AS GET BANDS NAMES OUT THERE! NO OTHER REASONS!
