This Singer/Songwriter goes by the name of Ayanna Charlene, Born in California June 20th 1987. The shy songstress emerged from her shell at the sweet tender age of 4 years old. Her father Jeff Atkins (musician/singer/songwriter) kept his girls singing and learning instruments. As a result of her musical exposure, she began to take an intrest higher than her parents expectations! Ayanna started playing in a school band in Junior high where she fell in love with the Tenor Saxaphone and the Clarinet. She also started writing songs/ poetry for herself and other artists by the age of 13.Ayanna has shocked audiences at local talent shows and the church choir (Unity Missionary Baptist, Sacramento, Ca) Her first performance was at an N.Y.S.P program on the CSUS campus when she was only 11years old! Her Parents enrolled her into VAPAC (Visual And Performing Arts Charter) where she took on different varieties of dance such as Modern, Ballet, Jazz, and Swing. She performed at church conventions held in Bakersfield and Fresno, Ca and her voice can be signaled out no matter how large the choir!Her writing style is spectacular and adds a unique touch to her vocal skill. Ayanna is a Foxy Alto with a very sexy saprano range, at just 21 years old this young woman is very underestimated, When you glance at her for the first time she seems shy and fragile but when she opens her mouth for that very first time you will see she is very well determined with a fiery attitude, a bold appearance, and a kind heart! Ayanna is currently recording as her debut album is highly anticipated and you will soon see alot more from this Northern Californian
