The band was started when Jasmine and Elliot met on a bus in early 2006. They quickly realised they had alot in common and decided to start up a band. At first the started off with just the two of them, playing covers by bands such as the kooks, razorlight and maroon 5. They got booked to play at the sunsplash festival in Ramsbury in July 2006, and wen't down very well.
In October 2006, Tom joined the band after being scouted in an opticians in the band's home town of Marlborough. As soon as he started jamming with them they glued together, and after just 4 weeks had their first gig as a whole band. They were well recieved by the crowd of 80+ people and recieved lots of promising feedback from everyone who listened. After this gig, the band dissapeared from the public eye for several months whilst Jasmine wrote new songs and recorded their first demo at the New College recording studio, of which only 30 copies were made and sent out to various fans who asked for it for free.
They then made a triumphant return in March 2007 with a string of gigs in and around Marlborough. They all went very well and the band went down well with the crowd. Since then, the band have gigged around Marlborough, Swindon and Pewsey, as well as taking their music to the coast in Southampton as main support for the amazing Sion.
The band has also recieved regular airplay on BBC Radio Wiltshire with their song We Smile, I Say Goodbye, after doing an interview and a session with them live on air in May 2007.
During the summer, the band were given the oppertunity to play at 2 festivals. The bigger one of the two, Sugarhill Festival, saw the band gain themselves a strong following in the ska scene, having gained the support of Hotly tipped Indie-Ska band The Talks aswell as legendary 70s band The Beat.
During the autumn and winter months of 2007, the band have a few gigs lined up including a support slot for Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly in London.
2008 looks set to be promising for this band, and if they play a gig near you, it's worth going to check them out.
