I am a freelance audio engineer/producer/drummer.I have been Duffy's front of house live sound engineer since November 2007. So far shows have included the Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury (Other Stage), Union Chapel (Little Noise Sessions for Mencap), Maida Vale studios (Radio 2 audience with Duffy), Jay Leno, Jools Holland, Harlem Apollo and many shows across the UK, Europe, America, and Canada - Rough Trade Management, A&M/Universal Records.Last year I recorded and mixed quite a number of live gigs for Relentless/Outcaste/EMI. The acts that I recorded and mixed for them were Justin Nozuka, Cage The Elephant, KT Tunstall, Seth Lakeman and Ben's Brother.Lewd are a band that I have recorded and mixed on many occasions. 'Boy' is one of their mellower songs that I produced for them. It was recorded/mixed on Protools in London, and Scotland during 2005. 'Mary' was recorded during the same sessions. Both songs were later mastered by Tony Cousins at Metropolis Studios.I also do live sound, and have had the pleasure of working with Corrine Bailey Rae, Transcargo, Neal Casal, Boy George, The Magic Numbers, Imogen heap, Maria McKee, Guy Sigsworth, Kate Havnevik, Aqualung, Raul Midon, Sean Lennon, Comets On Fire, James Morrison, and Paul Carrack amongst many others...I toured with Kate Havnevik during 2007 mixing her front of house sound. I ended up in Iceland, Norway, London and Leeds of all places. The Iceland gig was in front of 5500 people. Around 2% of the population!
