About Me

I'm partner and founder in a few business and musical projects. The top one's on the list right now are:
Kore Underground, Inc. - an artist development company
Mix It Up Entertainment - a mobile DJ service
I play guitar (electric, acoustic, classical), Native American Flute, I'm rusty on the saxophone, and I can get around on a piano/keyboard all right.
I also work out of my home during the day as a manager of information security for an international company. What is that you say? I'm the guy that tries to make sure your identity doesn't get stolen and that the company I work for doesn't fall victim to espionage, theft, and other crimes via the internet or physical means.
A little about where I came from, my history or whatever:
I used to play in a band named Altered

that toured around regionally for about 5 years based out of Dallas.
We played with bands such as:
Breaking Benjamin
Trust Company
Flyleaf
W.A.S.P.
Faktion
Neverset
Downlo
and a host of other bands that you may or may never have heard of...
We did pretty well for a local band out of Dallas. We got to play live on the air during drive-time on 97.1FM KEGL multiple times [Thanks to Cindy Skull and Robert!].
I got into computers in elementary school, was hacking the phone company by 14
and it was a natural progression into my day job from there, but the entertainment industry is where I've always felt at home...
I love the people, the artists, the struggles, even the game to a degree. I've made so many memories, friends, and had so many experiences that I've forgotten some just to make room for more.
As a kid I was always into music, but I was into acting as well. I was a model and did print work for JC Penny, Walmart, and a few others. I did film work as an extra and several industrial films. In high school I won first place with a friend of mine in a duet acting competition where we performed "Rosencrantz And Gildenstern Are Dead." [they're the guys in Hamlet that get killed, it was their story and pretty funny] I also performed in multiple plays in the local theater.
I am lucky enough to have several life-long friends, though they don't live near me anymore or are married and off doing their own thing these days.
Other than what I have mentioned above, I like Science Fiction/Fantasy/Action/Adventure/Comedy books, movies, and tv shows. I also study world religions, philosophy, psychology, the sciences, and have a different take on "reality" when it comes to my spiritual life. I accept all religions, and even the absence of religion, as valid paths towards the same ultimate ending. We are all intertwined, separation is an illusion.
Everything has a purpose.
If you have any further questions... ask. ;)

My Interests

Music, The Entertainment Industry, Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Snowboarding, Skiing, Traveling, Video Games, Bar-hopping w/ friends, Comparative Religion, Humanity in general

I'd like to meet:

Honest and trustworthy people that are non-judgmental and aren't completely insane. I have friends that run the gambit from the wildest to the most serene, so you'll have to be able to handle it all. If you are easily offended, quick to pass judgments, or live inside a box... we can still be friends, but we probably won't hang out a whole lot cause you never know who, where, or what will be going on. You gotta just love people, excitement, and a bit of the fast lane. Life is experience, so get experienced.

Music:

I can appreciate everything, though I don't really like to listen to Country or most modern Brit-rock genres. The singers normally kill it for me. I don't like twang, and I don't like guys that sing like their shorts are too tight and they just lost their blankey. Give me a powerful and dynamic singer backed by a good melody, something moving, driving, or emotional, and you've probably got me hooked.

Movies:

Top Favs are The Godfather Trilogy, Star Wars Saga, James Bond movies, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Planet Earth

Television:

I haven't watched this in forever... I just got cable after a long time without it. I'll let you know if I find something in the 900 channels of sh*t... so far, everything but Discovery sux

Books:

Too many to list here. Anything by R.A. Salvatore, Robert Aspirin's Myth Series, a ton of books related to psychology, world religions, philosophy, magic, and science. A small selection of music biz books. A few books on entrepreneurism and business.

Heroes:

My grandfather.
