About Me

I was born and raised in a small southern Illinois town. The town was home to coal miners, farmers, factories and bars. I was the second daughter of four born to a very musical family. I Begin performing at the age of three for anyone who would sit still long enough to watch. When I was twelve I began writing. At sixteen I got my hands on a guitar and havenâ€™t put it down since. In my twenty-seven years I have experienced a lifetime of hurt and happiness, and through all of it, I always had my music to comfort me and keep me safe. My music has suffered with me in the bad times and it has lifted me up in the good times, it has healed me. Music is what I do. I am a musician. I have lived in Texas, Illinois, Germany, Tennessee and now Jacksonville Florida. The warmth of the sun on my face and the people here in Florida brightens my spirit.
