I believe in karma, not blindly but logically with every real life instance I've witnessed of someone getting what was coming to them, both good and bad, and in seeing for my own eyes when things come full-circle.
Everything happens for a reason, but we must remember that the reason is not always something good or something immediately clear.
I think there's something very fundamentally wrong with the world, or the implication of "society". Namely, this is the lack of empathy and the undervalued importance of the individual. (Read Atlas Shrugged. Think about what the term "collateral damage" implies.)
