Get your DAMN hands on me!

About Me

Monkey With a Wig, a.k.a. MWaW, is the bastardized son of the established 3-piece Seattle blues punk band GravelRoad. When GravelRoad's drummer goes on tour with his other band, John "Kirby" Newman leaves his bass at home and bangs on guitar and vocals. Stefan Zillioux carefully places his Gibson SG on its stand and coaxes a driving rhythm from the drums. Recently, MWAW has made a welcome addition to the line up. Rounding out the low end and turning MWAW into a Power Trio, Brian Steel on bass he weaves a deep rhythm and tone through the MWAW sound. This 3 piece power-trio makes riff based rock reaching way back to the primal urges, through the millenia, to where we can all relate . . .
