Irish and Ulster history, history in general, the Middle East, ancient and medieval Europe, hanging-out with my girlfriend, horror and sci-fi, political agitation, social justice, ragging on yuppies, the environment, natural science, ecology, geology, theology, punk, metal, writing, hiking, camping, drinking, fishing, shooting guns (but I don't hunt), generally being outside when it isn't too hot, wandering around in the woods, bog-stomping, creek-wading, catching snakes that can seriously fuck me up and being freaked-out because none of them have even ever tried to bite me, video games, RPGs, RTSs, some FPSs (Medal of Honour!), sativa and indica
pretty much everyone on my friends list whom I don't already know. most notably John Sox, Dropkick Murphys, Dave King (Flogging Molly), Emcee Lynx, Wispy McCraken, any of the guys from Monty Python, Glenn Danzig, Bik McFarland, Gary McMichael, Milla Jovovitch, John Boorman, Stephen King, Clive Burr, Bruce Willis
I also want to play D&D with God and Lucifer. I think it might help to improve their strained relationship.
the guy who invented that thing that beeps whenever a truck or a forklift or a backhoe (etc.) goes in reverse. I would then like to stand outside his bedroom window every Sunday morning at five AM with a bullhorn screaming "beep beep beep" over and over.
also, people who aren't stupid. I hate stupid people.
people who glorify the ghetto-mentality also suck.
best balls-out rock 'n' roll album ever recorded.

I don't really have anything but the bare basic-cable of like 13 watchable stations (espn, c-span, qvc, the local access don't count as real stations). I think the cable companies are no better than Wal Mart, but I do like: nature, history, science documentaries; The Simpsons, Family Guy, Malcolm in the Middle, Scrubs, Frasier, Cheers, Taxi, Good Times, What's Happening?, Man vs Wild, Barney Miller, Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life (Jo was HOT), Friends, King of Queens, Law and Order (the regular one, SVU and CI), House, Monk, Looney Tunes (although they don't broadcast them anymore), and probably a few others.
mostly Irish and Irish Republican history, Ulster Loyalist history (check out my reading list in the blog section...I've read WAY too much about all of it!), British history, British military history, Celtic history, Dark Age and Medieval European history, Roman history, World Wars One and Two, American Revolution and Civil War... I also really like Steven King's whole Dark Tower series as well as an awful lot of his other books, Morgan Llwellyen's retelling of the Ulster Saga in "Red Branch" and "Lion of Ireland", Clive Barker's "Weaveworld" and "The Great and Secret Show", "The Lord of the Rings", "The Hobbit", Frederick Pohl's Heechee/Gateway series, most of Ray Bradbury's stuff, "Johnny Got His Gun" by Dalton Trumbo, "The Red Badge of Courage" by Stephen Crane (yeah, it really is a great read), most stories by H.G. Welles and Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe (everything), and I have like a trillion books... I'm not gonna name all the ones I like.
King Arthur and Merlin (even if they didn't exist), Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter), John Muir, T.S. Eliot, Theodore Roosevelt (the last real "man" to be president), Jesus was pretty cool, Vercingetorix, Hannibal, Brennus (vae victus, motherfucker!), Alaric, King Linneaus (this is SPARTA motherfucker!), Wolfe Tone, Paidraig Pearse, my grandfather Willie -Dog, my brother Scotty, Bobby Sands and the other nine H-Block Hunger Strikers, Tommy Chong, Che Guevarra, George Washington, Robert E. Lee, Dr. John Beeler, Fredrick Douglas, Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr, my friend "Sean" who is a former member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army, Malcolm X, Billy Wright, Bear Grylls (even though he used to be an SAS guy) and anyone else willing to give over their lives for what they truly believe in. I may not agree with the means to achieve the end, but I do applaud the effort you all have had the courage to stand up for freedom and social justice and say "No More of This Bullshit!!!"
