Thank you for bearing with me as I had to set up this alternative web page. The html code copied over OK - there were just a few minor "glitches" here and there, but as I know html code ("HyperText Markup Language"), it got sorted in next to no time at all.
So the "hackers" are wasting their time, as this here web page is in fact a Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional website!

Again, thank you for sticking around, that makes' you a true and valued friend.

Well this is what I mean:-

A TRIBUTE TO ALAN FREEMAN

I have placed a tribute to the late Alan Freeman in a dedicated blog.

I guess this is where the CV or Résumé goes then!A qualified Radio Presenter based in the South East of England.
I did a stint of hospital radio, then, professionally trained at the "Radio Training Unit" that was once based at "Leicester Sound FM" by a former "BBC Radio 1" DJ Steve Merike. That was a two day residential Radio Broadcasting Skills Course. Then I attended another Radio Skills Course a few years' ago at
"Presenter Promotions"
and recorded a new Radio Demo-Tape.
A former member of: Broadcasting, Entertainment, Cinematograph and Theatre Union - "BECTU" and the"Radio Academy."

The real reason why I want to "break" into radio is because, I was not "allowed" a Drum Kit I had always "craved" as a boy, and I want to help other Musicians' get the "chance" in life I never got.

MY DRUMMER HEROES:Mike Kellie of Spooky Tooth, and session work.
Hal Blaine , the session Drummer (he played Drums on "Bridge Over Troubled Water"), and also on "America's" second Album "Homecoming", and of course other sessions' over the years.
Nigel Olsson , Drummer for Elton John, plus session work.
Kenny Jones , The Small Faces, The Faces and Rod Steward Band.
Jim Keltner , session Drummer.
Jim Gordon played Drums on the late Harry Nilsson's Albums, and of course other session work.
Jeff Porcaro , Drummer for TOTO, and others.
God bless you Jeff.

Barry Gibb, yep, Barry has played Drums - on "Cucumber Castle" Album.

Ringo Starr.

THE REST OF THE BLURB:

I enjoy website designing as a hobby - I have two websites, and this web page on the go.I really enjoy all aspects of Website designing.

I used to attend an Evangelical Church in South East London, but I relocated to my current location because of the possibility of radio presenter voluntary work at Radio Caroline , with studios in Maidstone in Kent.
Listen live. But because of a misunderstanding (on their part), they simply forgot the studio was already "booked" for when I was meant to start broadcasting there, things very sadly did'nt work out there. There is no Evangelical Church in this tiny little village where I reside now - though my former Church is very kindly helping me find a new Church to attend, again, thank you to those involved, God bless you all.

I currently reside on my own in a small village near Maidstone in Kent, England, United Kingdom.

Top Job Interview: BBC Radio 2 in November year 2000, short listed for the position of Music Administrator.I needed more experience with a type of software system they now no longer use - so I didn't get the position - well "gutted!"

I'm also currently self-teaching myself the system they are using now, with a tutorial CD-ROM kindly sent to me by the UK representitive of "Powergold" - they use this software for their music database and for a radio "Jukebox" as well.
NB: The Licensed software is NOT available to the general public - a kindly note just before you ask!

My Interests

This page was generated and edited with "Amaya" a FREE HTML Editor from the www.w3.org World Wide Web Consortium for Webmasters and website designers. Savastore.com and the rest of the parts' were bought from Maplin Electronics Ltd, where I chose an Élite Computer Systems 648FX-A (V1.0) Motherboard or Mainboard suitable for a high grade Processor. The "ATX" case used is the Mercury "KOB 01" case (no longer stocked by Maplin). The Graphics Card chosen is the "GeForce FX5500" with "nVidia GPU."

I have recently upgraded the computer with a DVD / CD dual layer all format Rewriter/Burner Drive "LG" GSA-H10N internal drive unit.

Oh yes! The memory moduals (it's got a better memory than I've got), are 2x 512MB PC3200 Memory Moduals. There is even a video at Maplin Electronics Ltd about these moduals at the above website link.

Nearly forgot: Hard Drive: Western Digital 160GigaByte (GB).

I enjoy countryside walks as I actually reside in the countryside. My Village in the Weald in Kent is particularly beautiful, but I do miss the beautiful Thames Valley area of Berkshire as well.
