Hi, thanks for checking out my profile.
I'm a piano player, composer, songwriter from Bolton, Manchester
specializing primarily in rock, blues, indie, popular music and improvisation.
Studied piano and music theory at Bolton School of Music and Popular music at Leigh College under the tutelage from the likes of jazz pianist Geoff Moore and guitarist Gary Boyle. Initially classically trained, my interests and influences moved into piano orientated rock/pop such as early Elton John and Billy Joel, and in general, artists such as Beatles, Stones, Paul Simon, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, David Bowie. More recent influences have been from the likes of Steely Dan, Randy Newman, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Ben Folds, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Scott Walker.
Have a love for rock/indie music and enjoy putting a piano spin on the likes of The Who, Doors, Zappa, Bowie, Led Zep, Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes, Radiohead, Oasis, Kooks, Stone Roses etc
As well as performing as solo, i've played the keys for various original/cover bands and as a vocal accompanist.
Other projects include composition and music direction for theatre productions and studio session work.

Currently in a songwriting partnership with new artist having recently completed a 4 track EP....of which, more later.
