About Me

I'm an artist currently residing in Los Angeles, CA.
My primary mediums are pencil and charcoal.
On occassion I work with (hard) pastel, photography, and Adobe Software - usually for my own personal projects.
I DO NOT, WILL NOT draw fruit bowls, unicorns, a pastel picnic, or ANYTHING of the like. Why, you ask? Because I'll get bored.
I support all forms of art so long as the art comes from the core of the artist. Painting a canvas red and gluing a sock to it, IS NOT ART. It's crap.
I love women who aren't affraid to express themselves. Being demure, gentile and fair are lovely qualities for a woman to have so long as SOMEWHERE in her world she cuts loose, lets her hair down and isn't affraid to admit to herself, "That makes me hot. I want that. I don't care what other people think." in regards to well deserved pleasures. If this offends you, GOOD!
My subjects are beautiful, hot, cold, sexual and lustful, inviting, hard and frightening. Look at the subject matter of my drawings - you either did it, considered it, fantasize doing it, or have unresolved feelings regarding it. I draw these subjects simply to bring these HUMAN dramatics, fears, and desires into the open light. As a visual artist conflicting emotions is my way of making art imitate life with every grain of honesty no matter how loving or brutal the moment takes me (and sometimes I'll draw something just because I think it looks cool).
I have a great fondness for old trees, old sidewalks, old books, old clothes, and broken stained glass. I think an amazing story can be told in anything well aged.
On a personal note ...
I have another myspace page for friends and friends-to-be. On that page we can chit, we can chat. You can leave a string of glitter comments, dirty jokes, and/or tell me about your day ...
This page, however, is used for my art and keeping in touch with my brilliant artist friends (and of the like) until I get my art website up and running again. Thank you for understanding!
Coming soon ...
The image in this postcard is actually a drawing of a closed rosebud. Once I put the drawing to Illustrator and started messing around - this is what the drawing became.
