I guess like everybody else in this life, there are two sides of me. The light and the dark. One side is all butterfly's and ice cream, the other.........well isn't. My life is a series of contradictions and complications. But despite that everything works together in a way that actually highlights my life.

I like people who are honest with themselves as well as others, witty, and caring. People who have substance and their own opinions who aren't afraid to express or be challenged on them. People who think too highly of themselves need not apply as my life, my world, WILL NOT revolve around you.

Music:

Growing up, I had many musical influences.
Eveybody in my household and in my life seemed to listen to a different genre. And so, my musical taste varies widely. Some of my favorites are:

  • Duran Duran and Depeche Mode (yes, i still love them)
  • Poison and Motley Crue (got to love good arena rock)
  • Dean Martin and Billie Holiday (love the oldies)
  • Cherry Poppin Daddies and any kind of swing,
  • The Supremes and Marvin Gaye (really, i like motown) Elvis (do i need to comment, if you don't get it, your just dumb)
  • The Beatles(mostly later stuff)
  • Snake River Conspiracy
  • Type O Negative
  • H.I.M.
  • Orgy
  • Alice in Chains
  • Nirvana
  • Gwen Stefani AND No Doubt
  • Madonna
    • and the list goes on. Understand?

    ANYTHING BY ANNE RICE, right now i'm reading Mommies Who Drink by Brett Paesel (which is awesome if your a mom and more than a little neurotic like me), The Diary of Anne Frank (always makes you appreciate what you have), Little Women. Dracula, and Historical Fiction.
