About Me

Hello, and welcome to the profile on which I plan to keep all my musical, uh, music :) Usually I'm not the type of person to sit here and talk about myself, so if you care to, you're just going to have to take time to get to know me. Or you can go ahead and read waaaaaaay below (under the photo slide-shows) where I decided to give in and tell you the basics about me, personally. Just so that it's a easier for you guys to get to know me a little better :P. But right now, I will tell you that I'm easy to get along with and I love to talk, so don't hesitate to contact me... Anyways, my intention for this profile and for posting my songs on it is to just be myself, writing and singing songs, and to see how other people feel about the music I make...
I am new at singing my songs with my own (self-made) background music, so I am not going to limit myself to any specific genre of music... I am telling the truth when I say that I love and listen to ALL different types of music- from classic to rock to country to opera to techno to musicals to pop to rap to r&b to soul to jazz... the list goes on and on- I'm going to allow any and all types of music have their influence on me so that I can explore my full potential: I'm just saying this up front because I don't want to be expected to go in a certain direction when I havn't made any permanent decisions yet, ya know? But I am alwayse up for constructive criticism, so please tell me your suggestions!
Anyway, I guess that's all for now... I'll keep you all updated and post bullitens when I put up my new songs and stuff. So keep it R.E.A.L
xoxox
By the way, if you are interested in talking to me FEEL FREE to message or comment- I'm really really social, down to earth and honest, and I love meeting new people, so please don't be shy :P Talk to ya later...
My e-mail is [email protected] so you can e-mail me there any time you feel like it- although I check my MySpace messages more often, so it may be a while before I get back to ya with e-mail...
This is where I am gonna tell you about me :P
My name is Kim and I'm from Florida. I've lived there my whole life, born and raised- untill like last August or something when I moved up here to NC (which has very pretty trees in the fall, and is *freezing* cold in the winter, I'm noticing lol). If you are interested in anything that I am interested in or are just very out going then write me because I'm very out going I love to talk. I hate dealing with liars and cheaters, so if your one, then don't even bother because I hate having my heart broken- and I mean that in the least mean way possible... *sigh* Glad thats off my chest :)... Anyway, I'm very mellow, up front, honest, down to earth and definitely faithful to all my friends and family. I love meeting new people and I'm always up for a good time, so if you want to know more about me just ASK! =)
I'm usually pretty bored, so you can aim me if ya want to: xxkimicoxx

I am literally addicted to this stupid website. It's pathetic, lol
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I NEVER give out my personal information on or over the internet, because it is just flat out too risky... You never know whose out there looking for an easy target, and I'm not going to be one of them. So please don't be offended if I don't give you my address or phone number, or if I don't call you... it's (usually) nothing personal, just a matter of safety ;-)
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I'm not sure if Kimico is the name I am going to keep... it was just something I remembered that a friend used to call me when I first started high school, so I put it as my name on my music page as a spur of the moment thing. hehe. I'm kinda simple-minded like that. lol...

I am a LEARNER! I absolutely love to learn. There is so much out there that is left unknown to so many people and I just want to know it all, lol. I speak some Spanish, enough to communicate pretty clearly with Hispanic people where I work- I plan on learning more, and hopefully perfecting the language. I also know a couple of words in Italian, which I will finish learning after I'm done with Spanish. I also love history, and conceptual subjects, like pyschology, economics, and *some* math. And I think it's really important to use proper grammer or at least try to, even though I'm not the best at it. I must sound like such a loser, lol. Oh well, it's all good. I'll embrace it :P
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I have alot of goals, and I plan on achieving them. I'm not afraid to work for what I want.
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I love music, obviously- Singing, playing guitar and piano, and just listening to it in general. I don't have a favorite type, I like it all...
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I really enjoy talking to people, so don't hesitate to contact me! I love meeting people with depth who make me think, and consider things from angles that I don't already. But I also like talking to other people who just like to, well, talk. And people who make me smile. I have a weak spot for people who make me laugh, too ------------------------------------------------------------ --
It sounds stupid, but I have this obsession with seeing things from all different perspectives. I can sit and think for hours on end, just about one thing, but from every angle I can imagine.
------------------------------------------------------------ --
And I love writing poetry, although, despite the fact that the majority of it isn't based on my life or experiences I've had, most of the time I am too embarassed to share it with someone other than those with whom I am very close. I have a really active imagination :P
------------------------------------------------------------ --
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I LOVE my job :)
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I didn't have a horrible childhood growing up, lol. In fact, it was damn near perfect. I love my family and could never be who I am now without them. I am really not into the "drama" scene, although I find myself wrapped up in a web of rumors and ridiculous situations quite often, lol. I try not to cause it and I try desperately to avoid being a part of it. However, as long as someone isn't being emotionally or physically hurt, it is generally pretty entertaining to stand on the sidelines and take an unbiased outsiders perspective. lol. You should try it sometime :P
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I ride horses- I own four of them, and have been riding for EVER. I've been training horses and giving horseback riding lessons on and off for over 7 years. It's another huge passion of mine, aside from music.
------------------------------------------------------------ --
I miss my friends and my family in Florida and I can't wait to go back lol- but I guess life up here isn't too bad when there is stuff to do. Untill then, though, it is pretty boring lol
------------------------------------------------------------ --
Who I'd like to meet:
hmmm... I don't know...someone passionate and giving and caring and kind... all at the same time. What a feat, lol.

Band Members: Pretty much just me for now... but I LOVE to make music with other people, like hangin out in a garage and just playing whatever happens... But for me, it's just a matter of meeting someone interested in playing with me, as opposed to me just listening to them play (lol- that was directed toward someone in specific, and that person knows it too hehe)...

This is an important story pertaining to OUR SOLDIERS who are protecting OUR FREEDOM- It's now about Politics or personal views. The men serving our country don't have a choice where they are sent or why. They are just doing their jobs- Be thankful for that.

Many of you reading this may have a father, mother or family members who served our country in the military. I forward this to everyone in hopes that you all will in turn tell your friends this story (forwarded to me from a friend) to gain support for the men and women serving our country. You may not like the current politics, but don't turn your backs on the men and women doing a now somewhat thankless job. Half of our government dosent get it yet. Anyway, here's hoping you folks appreciate this story.

"Last week I was in Atlanta, Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

"Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camo's, as they began heading to their gate everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me I'm not alone. I'm not the only red blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.

"Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young, unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal. Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old, ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said "hi," the little girl then she asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her. The young soldier (he didn't look any older than maybe 22) said he wou ld try and asked what she wanted to give to her daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.

"The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter's name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter, Courtney, missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up. When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it. After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, "I spoke to y our daddy and he told me to give this to you" He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying "your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon."

"The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away as this entire event unfolded. As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding, I looked around. There were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.

"We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's good to be an American."

RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority". We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record-breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV to reflect our message or our opinions. Many Americans, like you, all our friends, and me simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.

If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.

As a Company, Southwest Airlines is going to support "Red Fridays."

The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is...We need your support and your prayers.

Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and wear something red every Friday.

HELP SPREAD THE MESSAGE BY REPOSTING THIS IN A BULLITEN OR ON YOUR PAGE. REMEMBER THAT IT IS SUPPORTING THE MEN AND WOMEN OUT THERE FIGHTING FOR US, AND IT'S NEITHER SUPPORTING/ OR OPPOSING THE REASON THEY ARE THERE. THAT'S NOT WHAT IT'S ABOUT. IT'S ABOUT LETTING THEM KNOW WE APPRECIATE THEIR RISKS, AND ARE THANKFUL THAT THEY ARE THERE, RISKING AND LOSING THEIR LIVES PROTECTING US, WHILE WE ARE AT HOME SITTING IN FRONT OF OUR COMUPTERS IN FULL CONFIDENCE THAT WE ARE SAFE. THEY ARE LOSING HOPE, AND THE MAJORITY THINKS THEY ARE WASTING THEIR TIME DEFENDING US, BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW WE APPRECIATE THEM. MAKE IT KNOWN!
