About Me

Thanks for visiting my site, I enjoy meeting new people. This site is more for friends, but I use another for my music. I play Old Time/Celtic music on fiddle, Leicestershire smallpipe, penny whistle, jaw harp and harmonica. I like to freestyle clog to the music as well. Sometimes you might catch me howling or hollering along to loud drony fiddle music like an Indian War Whoop. My family hosts the annual East Benton Fiddlers Convention/Contest on our cattle farm in Maine. Check out " ............................................................ ....................www.eastbentonfiddlers.com ............................................................ ................................ And also check out the Common Ground Country fair at the MOFGA ( Maine Organic Farmers Association's) fair grounds on there experimental farm. September 21-23 2007 Unity, Maine Theres nice music jamming in veggie kitchens to get out of the rain.I often hike mountains and islands in New England. I also like to make sculptures and dwellings out of snow in the winter and sit in them with a candle. Im a strict vegitarian. Sick of shaving my beard. I love Cows, and Ice Cream. Im crazy about Vedic Vastu Vidya or Feng Shui , Japanese Gardening and creating Hillbilly Bonsai ( a tree growing among moss and rocks in a metal washtub}. Love all plants and animals, especially Cows, Cats, big and small, Wolves, Bears, Racoons, Elephants, Horses, Kangaroos, Monkeys, Rats and Mice, Moss, Spanish Moss, Live Oaks, Oaks, Old Mans Beard, Apple , Hawthorn, Snowgum Eucalyptus and Banyan trees. I love islands, caves, mountains, post-glacial and volcanic geology and landscapes and alpine flora. Staying in secluded free to public mountain cabins/bothies is a favorite pastime. I went to Art school a while back but who cares. Still do Art when the mood is right. Hope to someday play clawhammer banjo. As for politics, I believe in ahimsa (non-violence) and a vegetarian spiritual democratic monarchy society, bow to your vegetarian reverant King and Queen. I do not like onions or garlic and have no need for gambling, but playing cards for fun is fun. I try to be environmentaly friendly and treat humans, animals and plants with tolerance and compassion.
