Jamie Wood Band

It's been 2 years now since I relocated from the Los Angeles area where my band was comprised of Johnny Rover, Nathan James, Tyler Pedersen, Johnny Morgan and Carl Sonny Leyland.While in the Montreal area, I discovered a hand full of really talented musicians playing blues-based swing, jump, boogie-woogie and roots music. It has been my great pleasure to play with Martin Gagnon, Colin Perry, Ben Caissie, Costa Zafiropoulos, Mike Reilly, Stephen Berry, Peter Mica and Kevin Mark and his band, among others. I also had the honor of playing the Grande Dames du Blues tour with Kim Richardson and Toni Lynn Washington, two very gracious and very talented women.I've toured in Europe and South America promoting my last 3 c.d.'s entitled "Flyin High", "Ain't No Doubt" and "Hollywood Confidential" which are on the Pacific Blues Recording label, headed by Jerry Hall.It's been quite an experience being in Quebec - and I'll just leave it at that.
