There isn't enough room...must be near water. People watching, doing things that anyone might say I can't do, learning a new craft. No place to list the artists that I like, so here I go: Any print from Clive Barker or Beksinski and Vladimir Kush
Really cool new people & hooking up with old friends.
Classical to Death Metal (if it wasn't for electric instruments, it would be hard to tell the difference). Love 70's bubble gum (Monkees and Bobby Sherman) and I'm a sucker for Jazz. But if you want to get into my head, then there's nothing like tribal music to bring out the best/worst in me (prefer Maori). I've been a huge Rush fan since 78' (can listen to them all day long), and I can probably sing (or scream) every heavy metal song from the 80's.
Once Were Warriors is amazing, Rope (anything Hitchcock), History of the World Part 1 (or anything from Mel Brooks for that matter), Meet the Feebles (sickest movie ever made)...too many to name, but they should either make you think or be pure escapism.
Dexter, Heroes, Deadwood, Carnival, Top Chef, Project Runway, Mind of Mencia, South Park. Old Sci-fi/horror shows like Night Gallery, Star Trek or Creature Features. Classic cartoons like Speed Racer rules! Anything on the Discovery Channel or the BBC. Medical shows, documentaries or documentary style shows like 30 Days. Little People, Big World is addicting.
Finally finished the "Heroin Diaries" by Nikki Sixx and "The Book of the Dead" by Preston and Child. Audrey Rose and the Lord of the Rings trilogy are all time favorites, but I'm a huge fan of James P. Hogan (better brush up on your quantum physics). I'll read almost anything Sci-Fi/Horror or current science books. I love Clive Barker, especially his short stories and "The Great and Secret Show" (one of the most fucked up and facinating books I've ever read)...anything by Neil Gaiman (prolific fucker)...and when I'm in the mood to really dig into a good read, I prefer Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Flaming Carrot (shout out to Bob Burden!). All time favorite comics...Vampirella, Creepy and Eerie.
My parents (seriously). My best friend Marie, who is the strongest person I know next to my mom.
