At Project Wellness Foundation, we are committed to fostering compassion and improving the lives of children across the United States who cannot afford the costs of healthcare or prescription drug medication. We are also dedicated to the promotion of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention education in the United States. Project Wellness Foundation aims to create a better tomorrow by helping people live healthier, fuller lives. We strive to offer programs that promote self-respect and independence and to improve the quality of life for each of our clients.Project Wellness Foundation provides funding for the healthcare (medical and dental) and prescription drug costs of children. The Project Wellness Foundation healthcare assistance client base includes children of low-income families who do not have health insurance and cannot afford to pay for healthcare and medication costs. All healthcare assistance monies are paid directly to a designated healthcare provider (doctor, dentist, clinic, hospital, etc.) or pharmacy.Project Wellness Foundation also promotes HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention education. We distribute printed literature (brochures, booklets, flyers, etc.) to our healthcare program participants, to at-risk groups, and to the general public. Although HIV/AIDS is more prevalent in certain populations, this disease can affect anyone regardless of socioeconomic status, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or geographical location. It is our aim to educate and serve people living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS, and to combat prejudice and discrimination against those living with HIV/AIDS. Project Wellness Foundation is raising funds by soliciting donations from individuals, businesses, and other charitable organizations, as well as by fundraising and grant writing activities. The cost of supporting Project Wellness Foundation services is small in comparison to the cost of ignoring the importance of these timely issues.
