Eyes changing, chasing feelings, age. Becoming Who I am Always here with more touching the inside with cotton candy, soft and sticky. And I feel sick Wanting to capture that moment letting it pass letting them all pass Now is my time. Alone. Loving, laughing spitting, carressing, opening wide, looking back, looking across the country Always looking for something Its all here Its been here all the while me. It's who I have, who I know. Some times feels funny Being me who I am. I like to swing, Hiccup, and Dance splash in water with the salt stinging my sores shouldn't have worn those black high heels when I'm ready I wasn't ready It happened waves of feelings this age coming though like a lawn mower on Sunday I see puddles growing on my cheeks all afternoon not much light comes in my room. Sage and a desire for home How I have forgotten love I am the light of love I shine like a love lamp in a lounge of gold, mauve, and black Take my light I want to give it to the world Sharing my waters I love all.-Shawn Knight
