About Me

Tom has been playing guitar and bass for 13 years. His main influences are Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Chet Atkins, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke, Al Dimeola and Bob Culbertson. Wendy has been playing keyboard since 2002 and bass since 2004. Her influences are Derek Sherinian, Stanley Clarke, John Myung, Billy Sheehan, Jordan Rudess, Lisa Lynne and Jens Johansson. Actually there are tons more but we don't want to scare anyone off. Our approach to music is very spontaneous. We'll come up with some rhythms and build a song around it. Most of our stuff is totally improvised and done with one take on our Tascam 8-track digital recorder. Sometimes we'll go for a totally electronic sound with the Triton Extreme doing all of the background and the guitars running through a roland synth and other times it will be an acoustic bass and acoustic guitar direct recorded. We don't want to limit ourselves with one style but if we had to it would probably be some form of jazz. In the future we plan to record a Christmas album (2007) and an all acoustic album. Wendy's personal goals are to learn harp and continue learning the bass and keyboards while Tom's is to learn tap guitar (Mobius Megatar or Chapman Stick) and continue to progress as a guitarist and bassist.
