Welcome to the akt myspace page!
This is the official myspace profile of akt, personally updated by the band members!

It´s just a short story: there was a goddamned weather when Florian and Peter stood outside and spoke for two hours. Both of them agreed that Peter’s idea of creating a new style of metal without guitars is great – as a result akt was founded in 2004 in Munich (Germany). After many trials with different bass players they came to a fatal conclusion: All a bass player wants is to stand unobtrusively in a dark corner – as if he’d have a chance to be unimportant to the music.
So Peter played also the bass on the first recordings. Now there is a second Florian at the band for the bass, and he plays really great. He is also a guitar player in another band called SLOD with Peter at the drums. With Sascha´s voice is akt complete, he is also the singer of Die Giftmischer.
