music music music
love and happiness
I am lucky. I get paid to play records and teach the future generation of superstar deejays. I organise people and things
no big deal, it's just what I do
I've wanted to get into writing my own music for as long as I've wanted to dj (fact fans - watching Tim Simenon on top of the pops made me want to do what I'm doing today) A few years ago I started to get into the producing side of things and am loving exploring recording the soundscapes I hear in my head using my previous musical training and the equipment at HBHQ.
I do my own stuff and also collaborate with slutpuppy productions, we're working on a new album...watch this space...check out the website slutpuppyproductions.com or slutfreak's myspace for their previous stuff. I'm enjoying getting in the studio with them, adding to their sound and throwing my toys outta the pram to get my influence in the melting pot. After 15 years of djing it's great to get into the producing side of things, but ah, there is so much to learn......and so many ways of tactfully saying I think that sounds sh*t
Check out the party collective I'm part of at www.sonicwomb.com......we know how to enjoy ourselves
let's all just get on eh? or at least agree to disagree fehchristsakes!
