About Me

Liz: A non-fictional character, an exuberant lifeforce. Mother, sister, daughter, grand daughter, friend. She loves with all her heart, fights with all her strength, has tons of integrity but is plagued with procrastination. Love her and you'll get it back ten-fold...cross her and you will find that she does not forgive easily. A Scorpio to the core, she is full of passion and a flare for the dramatic, and has a competitive streak that many would die for. She can soap box with the best of them, and most especially when it comes to the people she holds most precious in her life. Anyone who knows this Liz loves her for her silly side and the ability to make people smile in the worst of situations...even when those situations are her own. Liz plans to live well into her 80's, so stick around for a while. She promises it won't be boring.
I'm always a woman with so much to say, so when a moment comes that I don't have a comeback, please, check my pulse. A sense of humor in life is vital, and sarcasm is a gift. I use them to the fullest each day.
I believe in love and the power that love brings to your life. I love my children unconditionally and with every ounce of my being.
I have four cats and I'm not clinically nuts. They all know their names and respond to being called. I don't throw them birthday parties or dress them in costumes regularly, but I do talk to them in baby talk. Deal with it. The dog, however, she enjoys playing dress up. Really.
I have a motorcycle license and know how to use it. (Now if I can just find a nice bike to steal...hehe)
Money does buy happiness. I'm sure of it. I'm broke, and I'm miserable.
In my life, being far from the beach is unthinkable.
Sometimes it's good to be the queen. Sometimes it really sucks.
Next to family, friends are the greatest gift in life we'll ever have. Some you learn lessons from, some you learn lessons with, some are keepers, some are not, some will always be there for you, some have an agenda, but all of them keep it forever interesting.
Prevention is worth an ounce of cure, but what happens when you find out you did everthing to prevent something, and then it bashes you over the head and consumes you? Hmmmmm...
Smile at everyone you can, make friends along the way, stop and smell the roses. Our lives are truly made up of six degrees of separation. The guy you bumped into at the restaurant last week may be your next husband...and I'll make the cake!

Well, for starters, if I'm singing it, you can be damn sure I love it. For those who know me, I'm bobby-socker at heart who loves the classic music of the fifties. But if you were to hand me a microphone and ask me to belt out something random I'm pretty sure it would either be a Linda Ronstadt song or a something retro and disco. How's that for broad and varied? I love to sing.

Previously I wore the title of female talent for a fabulous oldies band called The Streethearts. Talented, funny and varied. I'm currently the Web designer for their MySpace page. Basically, I'm their Jill-of-All-Trades. Check our their MySpace page by clicking here The Streethearts

Television:

I am an ABC fan...during the day and at night. My favorite shows are Dancing with the Stars, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grays Anatomy, and I absolutely love Extreme Home Makeover. I watch my ABC Soaps everyday, and when I don't catch their first broadcast I watch them at night. Love my Soap Net, and these two gals, Catherine Hickland (aka Lindsey) and BethAnn Bonner (aka Talia) from One Life to Live. Books:

Just finished "The Truth about Cheating. Why Men Stray and What You Can Do to Prevent It" and I'm now working on "Emotional Infidelity, How to Affair Proof Your Marriage". Both by M.Gary Neuman. Eye-opening and inspirational.

Heroes:

All three men in my life, Andrew, Steven and Daniel. Not to be forgotten are all the men in blue that gave unselfishly during the events of 9/11. But let's remember them all, as the World Trade Center was not the only loss America suffered that day. Please pray for the victims of the Pentagon and for the heroes of Flight 93, for whose unselfish sacrifice may have saved the lives of countless others. God bless each and every soul.
