NYC dog runs and bike trails, double features at the Film Forum, bashing LA while harboring a secret desire to move there,pretending not to be interested in main stream things but then secretly obsessing over them, fighting the man.

is nice.

waiting for guffman, true romance,roman holiday, Willy Wonka, singin' in the rain, say anything, hairspray,M, cry baby, marnie, amelie, the goonies and any movies that combine love and cholera epidemics.

Television:

Little Britain, the simpsons, Big Love, 90210 (but only the brenda years,) the daily show, scrubs, arrested development, any stuart skit on MAD TV

Books:

Confederates in the Attic, Harry Potter,The Giving Tree, A Home at the End of the World,A light in the Attic (I guess growing up in an apartment has given me a longing for attic space,) Pride and Prejudice,The Baron that Lived in the Trees, Lolita and random biographies that I find at the Strand

Heroes:

Nurses (1 in particular,)the kids who sit alone at lunch, Barak Obama, grannies for peace and my dad
